How To Shop At Walgreens!

How To Shop At Walgreens
Walgreens has Sales and Promotions, Reward Program, & Store Coupons.

Walgreens has weekly sales and 'buy one, get one free or 50% off' promotions. Their sales run Sunday through Saturday.

Walgreens has a reward program called Register Rewards. No store card is necessary. You'll earn immediate Register Rewards on qualifying purchases, which can be used on future transactions same as cash.

There are some limitations to Register Rewards. Register Rewards cannot be used on the same offer in hopes of printing another Register Reward. For example, if you bought toothpaste and received a Register Reward, you cannot buy more toothpaste and pay for it with the Register Reward. A new Register Reward will not print. You can, however, use Register Rewards to pay for purchases that will qualify for different Register Rewards.

Walgreens has store coupons, found in their weekly ad and monthly coupon booklet (available in-store). These coupons can be combined with manufacturer coupons for additional savings.

Walgreens has a coupon-item ratio, which means the number of coupons (including Register Rewards) cannot exceed the number of items. In some cases, you'll need a filler item. For example, if you have a bottle of shampoo and a coupon for the shampoo, you cannot use a register reward to pay for it. You'll need to add a small candy bar or combine it with other shopping in order to redeem your register reward. Store coupons do not count toward the coupon-item ratio.

When shopping at Walgreens, consider multiple transactions to pay less money out of pocket. You can use Register Rewards from your first transaction to pay for subsequent transactions.
