How To Get FREE Groceries Using Overage!

One of the best ways to get free groceries is by using overage from other coupons!

An example of overage is when you have a coupon for $2.00 off and the product is only $1.50, the 50 cent difference will apply to the rest of your transaction. If you have 10 coupons with 50 cent overage each, you'll save $5.00 off the rest of your groceries! These can quickly add up!

Walmart is one store that allows overage. Some grocery stores allow overage as well!

How do you find coupons that give overage?

Look for high value coupons to use on low priced products. Another example is $1.00 coupons on items that are less than a dollar. While the overage may be just a few cents, if you use a lot of those coupons, you will wind up with a bunch of free products and a few dollars in overage!

Another way to get overage is to use coupons on products that are Free after rewards. Drugstores often have products that are free after rewards. For example, buy a product that's $2.99 and receive a $2.99 coupon good towards your next transaction. If you have a $1.00 coupon for that product, you'll pay just $1.99 but still receive the $2.99 coupon after purchase. So you'll get the product for Free, and make $1.00!
